1. Grant Request – Cheverly Weekday Nursery
Decision Required: Whether to approve.
Attached is the grant request for consideration.
2. Non-Conforming Use – Adult Entertainment Establishment
Decision Required: Whether to oppose.
This is before the County and is related to an establishment on Sherriff Road just outside the Town of Cheverly’s corporate limits.
3. Discussion – Bike Trail
Decision Required: None.
The Mayor has added this item to the agenda and will address.
4. MML Preparation
Decision Required: None.
The Mayor and Council will be discussing various topics of interest that they wish to make a priority with County and State leaders at the MML Convention.
5. WSSC Bond for 47th Delegation Consideration
Decision Required: Whether to pursue.
The Town Administrator has included materials from a few years back when the Town considered adding the posting of bonds to utility work. The utility companies have a blanket approval that would preclude the Town from imposing such requirments.
6. Discussion – Bamboo
Decision Required: None.
The Mayor has placed this item on the agenda and will address.
7. Discussion – Storm Water Project Update
Decision Required: None.
The Mayor has added this item to the agenda and will address. This is a status update of the stormwater projects that will be occurring in Town Park.
8. Raised Crosswalk – Euclid @ Lake
Decision Required: Whether to approve and do a budget adjustment.
The Mayor has added this item to the agenda and will address. Mr. Torres should have an estimate for the work at the time of the Worksession.
9. Dogs At-Large
Decision Required: None.
The Mayor has added this item to the agenda and will address. Attached is that portion of the Town Code, which addresses this issue.
10. Amending the Town Code to Ban Assault Weapons
Decision Required: Whether to pusue.
The Mayor has added this item to the agenda and will address. The staff is researching the State law in order to be sure any changes to the Town Code are in full compliance with the State law.
11. Discussion - Franchise Meeting Request
Decision Required: Whether to pusue.
A new company is seeking a franchise in order to install new poles in the public right-of-way..
